Veterinarian – Taconic Veterinary Center

The world has changed, so we’ve reimagined what it looks like to be a full-time veterinarian. Our mission at Taconic Veterinary Center is to provide our community professionally and compassionately with the highest level of veterinary healthcare 7 days a week.

If you’re a veterinarian fulfilled by caring for emergency patients but also enjoy the relationship building and work-life balance that comes in a community general practice, then please read on!

Why Taconic Veterinary Center?

Our hospital: Taconic Veterinary Center is a state-of-the-art facility. We believe in giving pets the longest, healthiest life with those who love them. Our fully equipped imaging department includes Computerized Tomography (CT), fluoroscopy, ultrasonography, endoscopy, and digital radiography. Paired with our in-house laboratory, screening bloodwork and radiology results are available within hours. We pride ourselves in being able to narrow down a diagnosis as quickly as possible.

As one of the few hospitals in the country equipped with both an Artemis Therapy Laser and a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, we can offer effective cutting-edge technology as adjunctive treatments for such conditions as osteoarthritis, brain, and spinal cord injuries, snake bites, large non-healing wounds, bone infections, severe pancreatitis.

Our team: A collaborative hospital team that is always learning from each other. We welcome those looking for mentorship as well as those eager to share their expertise with their colleagues.

Our location: Taconic Veterinary Center is located at the beautiful northwestern edge of Westchester County, New York. We are only an hour’s drive from all the fun and excitement of New York City! We’re also less than an hour from the great outdoor experiences you’ll find hiking and exploring the Hudson Valley and Catskill Mountains. Not including the fun in Cortlandt itself; between bowling, golf, brunch, and the plethora of other businesses to explore, it will be hard to get bored here! Living here is an amazing part of working for Taconic!
