As veterinary technician, you will be a crucial member of our care team. We are a multi-Doctor practice in wonderful Philadelphia that offers general medicine, surgery, dentistry, digital radiology, and in-house laboratory.
As a member of our team, you will receive training, continuing education, and an opportunity to rotate through the various technician assignment areas.

- Clinic hours: Mon – Fri 9:00 am – 7:00 pm | Sat – Sun 9:00 am – 1 pm | (Hours vary slightly between locations!)

Are you our perfect technician?
The best candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of veterinary experience, a CVT is preferred. They will have strong communication skills, be enthusiastic, reliable, detail-oriented, interested in learning and working as part of a team. Our Technicians are responsible for carrying out the Veterinarian's instructions, assisting in exam rooms and surgery, managing their time, communicating with the team and with our clients, care of patients, collecting and preparing laboratory samples, venipuncture, radiology, use of computers and preparing prescriptions.
We would prefer proficiency in the following nursing skills:
- Venipuncture
- I.V. catheter placement
- Radiology positioning
- Animal handling/restraint

- Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and think quickly
- Extraordinary attention to detail and thorough follow-through
- Strong computer skills
- Team player
- Graduation from an AVMA accredited program (preferred)
- Passing the Veterinary Technician National Examination (preferred)
- Knowledge of In-house lab equipment (preferred)
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
License/Certification:
Work Location: One location
