Bridgewater Veterinary Hospital has been serving the pet loving community for 27 years – 10 of which are in our gorgeous new hospital. We have all the bells and whistles; fully computerized records (Cornerstone), a brand-new ultrasound machine, digital radiographs, dental radiographs in a separate dental suite, in-house blood machines and a Sedivue for in-house urinalysis. Many practices can brag about quality medicine, a pleasant work environment, 30-minute appointments, designated phone call time etc. but Bridgewater Veterinary Hospital is different! We are a team of 6 veterinarians who all really like each other! We collaborate on cases, help each other out, and laugh together regularly. We have not one but TWO doctors who practice acupuncture and Chinese medicine. One of them has a Master’s in TCVM from Chi University and loves those special clients who are looking for something extra. We also have a doctor who is certified in Applied Animal Behavior, so you never have to deal with behavior unless you want to. We also have great specialists and a boarded internal medicine doctor who is here regularly, 1-2 days per week for ultrasounds, works ups and general questions. Our boarded oncologist is here once per week doing a full day of consults and treatments. We also have the ability to have a boarded surgeon come in for outpatient surgeries such as large mass removals, TECA’s etc.
Other things that make Bridgewater Veterinary Hospital stand out – Our support staff includes some truly stellar nurses and receptionists who are dedicated to patient care and owner support. We have a full training system (nick named BVH University) to make our support staff well educated in veterinary medicine. They truly make our life easier every day! Our staff is packed with senior nurses and receptionists who are fantastic people, dedicated animal lovers, and really good at what they do. We are soon to be a Fear Free Certified Practice and Feline Friendly Certified. We make good use of pre-visit pharmaceuticals to make appointments safe and easy for our patients, clients, and staff. Our schedule is designed to give you time to work up your cases the way you want, and our clients always want what’s best for their pet so that makes practicing quality medicine a lot easier and more fun.
Bridgewater Veterinary Hospital is a great place to work – some of our doctors have been here for decades! Although we are sad to watch some of them retire, come, and see why BVH has been their home for the last 20-30 years.
