Minnieville Animal Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic full time Veterinary Technician for a 3 doctor, fast paced, small animal practice located in Woodbridge, VA. Located just 30 miles south of D.C., Northern Virginia offers beautiful mountains, rivers, and beaches just hours away. 

Our veterinary hospital is well equipped with advanced equipment and technologies to provide the highest standard of care. Our facility has the equipment to provide comprehensive in-house testing (i.e. CBC, Lasercyte, CHEM Catalyst, U/A Analyzer, Snap Reader) for accurate diagnosis as well as digital x-ray, mobile ultrasound availability, surgical suite, dental, cold laser therapy, pharmacy, and more. In addition, we offer pet boarding and grooming. 

Established 30+ year clientele with friendly family-oriented feel. Our customer service is top notch. The facility has recently been recently renovated and our clients feel they are at their home away from home.

2 years experience preferred with proficiency in dentistry and surgical monitoring a must. 

Proficiency in pet handling/holding, treatment and hospitalization, running in-house lab work and cytology's, checking in exam rooms, and basic veterinary medical knowledge (knowledgeable about vaccines, spay/neutering, etc.)

While performing the duties of this job, employees may be regularly required to lift and or move up to fifty pounds as well as bend, sit, squat, or stand for periods of time. This job also includes phone and computer work which will need to be performed.
