Veterinary Technician

Park Veterinary Hospital is looking for both a full and part-time veterinary technician. The ideal candidate should be able to act professionally and greet clients with a smile, enter, and maintain accurate medical records. Maintain cleanliness of the facility and well-being of pets.

Ideal candidate: 

• CVT preferred, but not required 
• Team player
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working in a veterinary hospital
• Handle pets properly during procedures.
• Instill IVs, draw blood samples, administered medications
• Outgoing, friendly, ability to multitask
• Communicate efficiently with staff members and pet parents
• Computer skills a must – Idexx lab equipment, Cornerstone preferred, digital radiology
• Able to answer general questions about dog and cat care
• Must speak English fluently.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) would be a plus
• Must be able to work energetically for the entire shift

Schedule can either be a 4- or 5-day work week, with rotating or dedicated Saturday shifts.
