Mental Health Awareness Month

Mental Health Awareness Month was established 75 years ago as a way to create awareness of the importance and impact of maintaining good mental health.  Fortunately, we’ve come a long way since then and recognize that acknowledging and striving for a healthy mental outlook is actually an ongoing and daily activity.   We all experience good days and toughs days and knowing that help is available is key.

Well-being is a foundational pillar here at Suveto, we are deeply grateful for and committed to our amazing colleagues and their families.  We pride ourselves on “walking the walk” and offer a broad array of support for our team through robust resources and benefit programs that offer solutions to meet you where you are, including EAP, Talkspace, and online/on-demand coaching opportunities to name a few.   Additionally, we promote and encourage our teams to utilize specific Veterinary organizations that champion healthy living including NOMVVeterinary Hope Foundation, and AVMA.

We recognize the importance of work/life harmony and offer Paid Leaves and Volunteer Days allowing time for themselves and time to pay it forward to their communities.

Our partnerships with NOMV and Veterinary Well-Being Buddy offer additional opportunities for our Suveto family team members to be well.

Our commitment to Well-Being is strong and applies across the board to our Suveto network hospitals, as well as our Harbor by Suveto and Calico Financial teams.
